| A Word from The Writer: The Monday Analysis - 5 July 2004
We're in that quiet time
period between mini-camps and training camps, so I'm just sending another
notice on the Buffalo game for this week.
Patriots at Buffalo
October 3rd: Calling All Pats Fans The
Patriots travel to Buffalo on October 3rd to play the Bills, and individual
game tickets go on sale July 17th. The Monday Analysis is looking for a few
good Pats Fans to travel to Buffalo for the weekend and witness this Bills
Destruction.
Please send email confirmation if you are interested. If tickets can be
obtained, they will be distributed on a first come basis. Get those inquiries
in early! I am hoping someone with a van shows some interest, so we can take a
comfortable vehicle to Buffalo! The
first trek we made was in 2002, and the three of us had a blast! Buffalo fans
are all right folks, and the spirit of football and competition is certainly
in the air. Early October should be great weather.
Please reply as soon as possible! Spaces are limited, and I need a positive
head count before July 17th. I cannot make any promises afterward, but those
who show late interest will be called first as a space opens up. For
more information, drop me a line and I will be more than happy to talk you
into the trip!
Top Ten List of the Week 1.
Happy Birthday, America! The rest of the world can stick it! 2.
NFL Network. All football. All the time. And lots of Patriots stuff, like the
game of the week the other nice was the the 2001 AFC Championship Game in
Pittsburgh. You remember that game, right, where all the Pittsburgh people had
to cancel their Super Bowl plans? 3.
Congrats to Maria Sharapova, the Russian 17-year old who beat Serena Williams
for the Wimbledon Title. Kournikova who? 4.
Who cares about Men's Wimbledon? 5.
Hey, Red Sox Nation! Time to switch nations, my friends! The doors of Patriots
Nation is always open! 6.
Lance Armstrong is off and riding for his sixth straight Tour de France title.
Check is out nightly on Outdoor Life Network (OLN). He's currently fourth
overall. 7.
Roger Clemens will start for the National League in the All-Star game (and
Mike Piazza will catch him!). Didn't some Red Sox executive say his was all
done some 10 years ago? 8.
Some weather we're having for July. Just nice! 9.
CBS is supposed to be fined $550,000 for the Super Bowl half-time show. I hope
Ms. Jackson and Mr. Timberlake are willing to pony up most (i.e. all) of that
fine. 10.
One more for the NFL Network! 5 July 2004 |
